Description Dark red in color with nearly purple highlights and scents of violets and cassis that give this wine immediate appeal. On the palate it features deep, complex notes of plum and blackberry; accenting a lush core of fruit with a solid tannic structure that nonetheless never seems overwhelming. Though enjoyable now, this is very much a "big style" Cabernet that will reward a couple more years of cellaring. History Savage Estate was founded in 1997 by Michael Savage.
