Beer Tasting 101
The Wine List of Summit will be offering a Beer Tasting Class for those who wish to enhance their passion for and their love of the oldest (and noblest) fermented beverage known. This class is also a terrific gift any beer aficionado will appreciate!
In this tasting class, we will explore a handful of classic beer styles and taste award-winning beers from some of the best brewers today. We will learn about the different brewing techniques that result in Ales and Lagers and explore the geography of beer and how national and regional tastes impact the brew.
The class will also cover such diverse topics as beer and food pairing, proper storage, how the proper glassware improves the flavor, etc. We even have some pointers on home brewing, for those willing to take the plunge.
